About the Role We are seeking a skilled Videographer to oversee the entire production process, from filming to editing, visual effects, color correction, sound design, and final publication on various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. This role will focus on managing content for our company's channels, as well as our partner company, transparent-beraten, on YouTube. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the full production process, including: • Filming and editing • Creating visual effects, graphics, and motion graphics • Color correction and sound design • Publishing content on social media platforms • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement content strategies Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: • Proven experience in video production, editing, and post-production, ideally in a YouTube or social media environment • Proficiency in using standard editing software, such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut, as well as tools for visual effects and motion graphics, like After Effects • Experience with camera setups, lighting, and sound, with a keen sense of what makes a professional shoot • A strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience-friendly editing • The ability to work precisely to briefs, while also bringing your own creative ideas to the table • Reliability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • A willingness to work from our Essen office on a permanent basis Nice to Have • Experience with short-form content, such as Shorts and Reels, and advertising video production • A basic understanding of YouTube algorithms, retention, and CTR Benefits We offer: • A minimum 4-day week with 30-32 hours, with the option to work up to 40 hours • The opportunity to work on two growing YouTube channels, where your work will be directly visible • A small, close-knit team with short lines of communication and genuine creative freedom To apply, please submit your portfolio, including a showreel or links to your videos or channels, along with your salary expectations.
