About the Role Join Automat-it, a premier AWS partner, as a Senior Solutions Architect. We empower high-growth startups to accelerate their cloud journey, scale smarter, and drive real results. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will work closely with global startup customers and account executives to develop innovative AWS solutions that meet their unique needs. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions for customers, including Well-Architected reviews and Statements of Work. • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize current solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are designed and developed according to best practices and industry standards. • Share your expertise with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements such as workshops, conferences, webinars, and more. • Participate in frequent travel, both locally and internationally, to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events. Requirements • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS, including implementation, migration, and maintenance, with a focus on designing end-to-end solutions. • 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent. • Proven experience in a production environment, developing software with languages such as Python, Go, Java, or equivalents. • In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with a focus on Kubernetes and Containers. • Successful experience designing DevOps and Infrastructure for high-scale production environments in AWS. • Understanding of Information Security best practices and experience with AWS's main security services. • Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate. • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification is an advantage. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have • 2+ years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools. • Experience with other cloud providers or hybrid environments is a plus.
