About the Role We are a rapidly growing company within the PKE Group, a global leader in communication and media technology. As part of our expansion in Germany, we are seeking an experienced Senior Systemtechniker to drive the development of multimedia and theatertechnik solutions. Our team combines cutting-edge technology with intelligent planning and efficient operations to deliver tailored solutions for a wide range of industries, from music theaters and opera houses to industrial settings, hospitals, and broadcast studios. Key Responsibilities • Configure and expand AV media control systems and inspizientenanlagen in theater houses • Design and update graphical user interfaces for touch panels and keypads • Integrate and configure AV systems and intercom systems (audio, video, control) • Provide technical support and troubleshoot multimedia systems • Perform maintenance and actively manage our existing customer base • Maintain documentation and plans • Participate in on-call duties (compensated separately) Requirements • Completed training in media technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field • Comprehensive knowledge of network technologies and common communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS232) • Several years of experience in programming or extensive experience with AV systems such as QSC, Crestron, or similar systems • Familiarity with Riedel or Clearcom systems is an asset • Experience in the field of theatertechnik (Inspizientenanlagen, Tontechnik, Videotechnik, Medientechnik) is desirable • Strong understanding of network technology, particularly in the AVoverIP area, is essential • Willingness to participate in on-call duties • Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and teamwork skills • Valid driver's license (class B) and willingness to travel, including multi-day trips • Language proficiency: C1 German, basic English knowledge Nice to Have • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python • Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling • Knowledge of audio and video processing systems Benefits • Family-friendly work environment and company culture of a successful and expanding international business • Unlimited fixed-term contract with 30 vacation days and a 40-hour workweek, as well as flexible working hours • Company vehicle with private use (dependent on the position) or reimbursement of travel expenses and Germany ticket • Onboarding and comprehensive induction program • In-house training and development academy - PKE Campus • Challenging and autonomous tasks in a growing company • Company events and employee events
